Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
Mission of Grad Div DEI Office
We recognize that each student comes to UC Santa Cruz with their own expertise, experiences, knowledge, obstacles, identities, and needs. These should all be considered when developing Graduate Division policies, practices, and programs.
Our primary goal is to provide support for graduate students from all intersecting identities, using resources and frameworks that affirm those identities, and to advocate for resources that better support graduate students from all intersecting identities. We are committed to leading with empathy, optimism, and competency.
